Are you able to walk to the pools at the Carribbean or do you have to take a bus to get there? Is there a particular area we should stay that is close to the food court and pool. Our children are 1 and 3. Thanks!

    Hi, Jacqueline!

There are pools everywhere at Caribbean Beach - 6 pools (1 in each village) PLUS the amazing Pirate Themed pool near Old Port Royale (food court area). There is also a wading pool and hot tub near the Pirate Pool.   With so many pools, you are never far away for a refreshing dip to cool you off!

If you want to be near Old Port Royale and the main Pirate pool, you will want to request a room in Trinidad North or Martinique and request a room close to Old Port Royale.    If you find your room is too far of a walk, there is an internal bus system you can use, but I find that by the time I've waited for the bus, I could walk but it is up to you.

Along with multiple pools, there are multiple bus stops so you are never too far to catch a bus.  When you check-in, a cast member will show you which bus stop is closest to your room.

I hope you and your family enjoy this tropical resort when you visit Walt Disney World!  Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
