Hello, and welcome to planDisney, Amanda!
As a Florida resident, I get extremely giddy when I speak with Disneyland Guests. I love it when the
Most Magical Place on Earth collides with the
Happiest Place on Earth! Amanda, I am more than happy to provide an answer to your question.
I did some digging and found the following on the Disneyland website: "
DAS issued at Walt Disney World Resort is not, for example, valid at the Disneyland Resort, and vice versa." So, you'll need to register for the Disability Access Service via Walt Disney World's Guest Services.
You're still a couple of weeks away from your East Coast vacation, so I highly recommend completing a virtual pre-registration for
DAS Advance using live video chat. Visit the registration webpage, scroll down, and select "Request Live Video Chat." You may begin this process 2-30 days before your arrival. During the video call, a Cast Member will determine your eligibility, and you'll be able to book up to two (2) one-hour return windows for theme park attractions' Lightning Lane use.
But if you're a busy gal like I am, once you arrive at Walt Disney World, you also have the option to visit
Guest Services in-person. You can find it at each of the four theme park's entrances. Speak with a friendly Cast Member to determine your eligibility and set you up for your first
Lightning Lane return time.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you do qualify, DAS benefits extend to up to five additional Guests in your party and it's good to use for the entirety of your visit. My family loves that we can select our own attraction return times using the
My Disney Experience app's DAS Self-Selection Tool. The Guest Experience Team Cast Members at the various blue umbrellas around each theme park can make your next Lightning Lane selection as well.
Amanda, if you have any further questions while planning your vacations, for Walt Disney World or even at home at Disneyland, feel free to
revisit us here at planDisney!
Magic always,
LeAndra
