    Am I able to visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge and use the public animal viewing areas around the resort or is this only for guests staying at AKL?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I loved your question because Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is among my favorite Disney Resort Hotels. It's by far on my top two Disney Resort Hotels precisely because there is so much to see and do even if you're not staying there.

    I'm so in love with this place that my husband and I just purchased a few Disney Vacation Club points there so that we can visit more often. I can't wait to go back!

    All Guests are welcome to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to see the marvelous lobby at Jambo House, watch the animals, and enjoy the fantastic food options. This Disney Resort Hotel has three of my favorite restaurants: Jiko - The Cooking Place, Sanaa, and Boma - Flavors of Africa. They're all fantastic! 

    I hope that you have a wonderful time at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Michelle. You will love it!
