When will I be able to view the activities and excursions? I am trying to start planning which ones to sign up for when I am able to in a couple of weeks. Thanks!

    Hello, Alissa!

Thank you for reaching out to planDisney. I'm always excited to chat about all of the extra magic you can add to a Disney Cruise. Looking through Port Adventures and onboard activities is one of the best parts of planning!

Fortunately, you can start exploring options long before your booking window opens. On the Disney Cruise Line website, head to "Destinations" and scroll to "Port Adventures." From there, you can explore options by region. You’ll also be able to sort by activity style, price range, accessibility, and more. I usually look at each port individually to avoid getting overwhelmed by all of the choices!

As you look at the Port Adventures, remember that each sailing offers a slightly different mix of experiences, so you may see some activities listed that won’t appear on your specific itinerary. Browsing ahead still gives you a good idea of what to expect. I usually jot down a few favorites for each port, plus a couple of onboard options for each day, so I’m ready when my booking window opens. However, I never schedule anything at Disney Castaway Cay! I love spending the whole day exploring the island, swimming with my kids, and snorkeling around the lagoon without sticking to a specific schedule.

For onboard fun, the Onboard Activities page works the same way. Choose your ship and type of experience, and you could see anything from beverage seminars to specialty dining to the Royal Court Royal Tea celebration. I usually book a Beverage Tasting, brunch at Palo, and a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience for one of my kids.

Since this sounds like it is your first Disney Cruise, you’ll be able to book activities and Port Adventures 75 days before your sail date. Popular offerings can fill quickly, so having your list ready can help speed up the process. If something you want isn’t available right away, don’t worry yet! Guests may change their plans, so openings sometimes pop up later. You can also check with Guest Services once you’re onboard to see if they have any availability.

When you’re ready to see everything tied specifically to your reservation, log in to your Disney Cruise Line account. Under "Already Booked," open "My Reservations," then head to "My Plans." Once your booking window begins, you’ll be able to click "Add Activities" for each day of your itinerary and reserve anything that’s still available.

Alissa, have a wonderful voyage on your Disney Cruise! I hope you contact planDisney again if you have other questions.

    Happy sailing!
    Jen
