    Will I be able to upgrade an 8-day ticket that I've already purchased for a trip in November to an annual pass (once they become available)?

    Hi, Katie! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks so much for stopping by with a question for us! 

    I’m so excited to hear about your November trip to Walt Disney World! The week you will be visiting is when the Holiday decorations usually start making an appearance, and the Theme Parks transition to a winter wonderland! It is simply beautiful to behold. 

    As long as your Theme Park Tickets remain unused, you can transfer the value of your existing Theme Park Tickets toward the purchase of another Ticket (including Annual Passes once those become available to purchase)! This is also true after you begin using your Theme Park Ticket but before the final Ticket day if you stop by a Ticket Center and speak to a Cast Member. In fact, before the purchase of Annual Passes was discontinued, I made this exact upgrade during a very magical solo visit to Epcot! I still remember the euphoric feeling of leaving the Ticket Center with my first-ever Passholder card!
