Hi, are we able to upgrade our 3 -day CA Resident ticket to a Magic Key pass?

    Hi there Tanya,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with your question about upgrading your current Theme Park Tickets to a Magic Key Pass.  I am glad to see you are considering becoming part of the Disneyland Resort Magic Key Program, it is a great way for you to enjoy even more Disney magic over an entire year!

Unfortunately the California Resident Promotional Ticket is not eligible to be upgraded to a Magic Key Pass.  With an expiry date of September 30, 2021, it may be worthwhile to use your California Resident Promotional Ticket first, before purchasing a Magic Key Pass since you may lose your original Theme Park Reservations when purchasing your Magic Key Pass.  If you would have your heart set on a Disney Magic Key right away I suggest purchasing your Magic Key prior to using any of the days on your California Resident Promotional Ticket.  If your Ticket expires prior to using the ticket, you may be able to use the value of the wholly unused ticket toward new Theme Park Admission.  While not guaranteed, you could ask a Cast Member at the Ticket Booth for available options when the time comes.

I wish I had better news to share, Tanya.  If you have any other questions please come back and visit us again at planDisney.  We are always happy to help.
