You do not need to transfer your
Oogie Boogie Bash tickets to your family members if you'll be arriving separately. Instead, each Guest can simply link their ticket to the
Disneyland Mobile App on their own device.
To add a ticket, they'll want to open the Disneyland app, tap the menu icon (☰) in the lower right corner, and select "My Tickets & Passes." From there, tap the "+" in the upper right corner and choose "Link Tickets & Passes." They can then either scan the barcode from the ticket or enter the ticket ID manually. Once the ticket is linked, it will be available right in their app and ready to use when they arrive.
The great news is that the ticket becomes associated with the Guest using it when they enter Disney California Adventure Park for the event, so arriving separately is no trick at all, just a treat!
I attended Oogie Boogie Bash last year and had an absolute blast! Between the character
treat trails and encounters and the delightfully spooky atmosphere, it quickly became one of my favorite Disneyland events. I'm counting down the days until my own visit in just a few short weeks, and the anticipation is reaching a ghoul-ish level!
Bonus tip: Bring a larger bag for all that candy! My group learned pretty quickly that the provided treat bags filled up frighteningly fast. Last year, we worked larger candy bags into our costumes as fun accessories, and it was the perfect solution for carrying all our goodies without missing a beat.
I'm especially excited for
Madam Leota's Swinging Wake this year! It looks like it will be the perfect way to put the finishing touch on an evening packed with haunts, happy memories, and lots of Halloween magic.
