Howdy, Emily! Thanks for stopping by planDisney and asking your question!
You'll be glad to know that many tickets purchased before the closure have had their expiration dates automatically extended. For instance, if you had an unused one-day ticket that expired on December 30, 2020, you now have until December 16, 2021 to use that ticket. If you purchased a multi-day ticket that expired on January 12, 2021 or April 13, 2021, the new expiration date is also December 16, 2021. Visit the
"Theme Park Tickets and Reservations" page and scroll down to the "Modifications and Cancellations" section to see the new expiration dates for tickets.
To use your ticket now, you'll need to first link it to your Disneyland account. You can do this on the Disneyland Resort website by clicking the "Link Tickets" link under the "My Disneyland" menu or by using the Disneyland app. Once your ticket is linked, you will then need to
make a theme park reservation for each day you want to visit. Be sure to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar before making any plans. If you have a one-day ticket, it's likely that when you purchased your ticket it was associated with a certain ticket tier--Value, Regular, or Peak. Depending on the ticket type, there are certain dates when you'll be able to make a park reservation.
This FAQ page details the blockout dates for each ticket type.
I hope this information was helpful! Have a great time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
