Am I able to use a Table Service credit at a Quick Service restaurant? Going with some family members that are not using a dining plan.

    Hiya, Susan! Welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you’re planning a wonderful visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! It can sometimes be challenging to plan around everyone’s needs and wants, especially when traveling with larger parties. I can definitely relate to that, Susan. With that said, let’s get into the heart of your question.

The Disney Dining Plans are a great way to prepay for your meals when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Based on what you’ve shared, it sounds like you’ve booked the Disney Dining Plan. This includes 1 Table-Service meal, 1 Quick-Service meal, and 1 Snack or non-alcoholic beverage per night of stay, as well as 1 Resort-Refillable Drink Mug for the length of your stay. Unfortunately, as of this writing, it is not possible for Guests to redeem Table-Service credits at Quick-Service locations.

Having said that, here are some options to consider. On the days where you intend to dine with family, you could use your Table-Service credits on breakfast reservations. My personal favorite is Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at Topolino’s Terrace. It’s a phenomenal experience! You could then use your Quick-Service credit to dine with your family later in the day. Or, depending on how often you intend to dine with your family, you may want to consider the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. This includes the same benefits as the Disney Dining Plan, except that instead of 1 Table-Service meal and 1 Quick-Service meal, you’ll receive two Quick-Service meals. This could better suit your needs depending on how you intend to structure your days.

Either way, many Guests love the convenience of the Disney Dining Plans. It’s one less thing to worry about while you’re immersing yourself in the magic of your visit. Honestly, that’s what I love most about Walt Disney World. It really feels like its own little slice of paradise, completely detached from the outside world!

I hope this answers your question, Susan! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at planDisney. My fellow panelists and I are always happy to help!

    Happy planning!
