Hi there, David, and welcome to planDisney! I am so happy that you're here today with this great question about your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! It's no secret that I am a huge fan of
dining plans, so I'm excited to share a little bit more with you about how you can use them to the fullest during your visit.
David, I totally understand that the various members of your party might enjoy different dining experiences. I really like to have an
Advance Dining Reservation each day of my visit to ensure I have time to rest and recharge with my family, so we can finish the day strong. Some guests, however, like to be more on-the-go and spontaneous, so quick-service meals are perfect for them. At this time, table service meals cannot be used for quick-service meals. One option for making sure you use all of your table service meals is booking an Advance Dining Reservation for a dining location that requires two table service meals per guest, like
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White and
Cinderella's Royal Table. These are very special experiences that offer unique Character interactions as well as incredible food.
While we're on the subject of the value of the Disney Dining Plan, I'd love to recommend one of my favorite spots at
Disney Springs:
The Polite Pig. This quick-service dining location actually feels more like a table service restaurant due to the fantastic and attentive servers. Show up hungry, because you'll want to eat every bit of the generous portions of barbeque they offer. Take advantage of your dining plan by ordering an adult beverage to go along with it!
I tend to order lots of snacks when I'm visiting
EPCOT, so I'll designate more than one of my dining plan snacks for that day in particular. I recommend anything at
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie and
Karamell Kuche!
David, I hope you have an incredible time during your vacation. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have about your upcoming visit!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
