Hi Audrey!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
I'm happy to hear you're purchasing Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets, which means you must have a magical vacation on the horizon! What fun it is to make plans to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth, whether you're choosing a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, making
Advance Dining Reservations, or securing Park Pass reservations!
Guests with
Park Hopper tickets have the ability to "hop" to a different park each day after 2pm. During this time that Guests are
Returning to a World of Magic, you'll need to follow a few guidelines for Park Hopping:
1) Secure a
Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park you'd like to visit.
2) Physically enter the park you reserved, scanning your Magic Band, park ticket, or use
Disney MagicMobile at the point of entry.
3) Park Hopping is an option after 2pm each day, subject to park capacity limitations.
If you've already purchased your theme park tickets, and have decided to upgrade and add the Park Hopper option, you can easily do the upgrade through your
My Disney Experience app. When you open the app, choose the menu option in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Choose the icon that reads "Tickets and Passes", and you will see a list of the theme park tickets associated with your account. You will then need to scroll through your tickets until you find the one you'd like to upgrade. Under the ticket description, you'll see an option to "Change Ticket". After selecting this option, you'll be asked to "Choose Tickets to Change". Make sure the ticket you'd like to upgrade has a green check next to it, and select Continue. You'll then be able to change the Ticket Type and add the Park Hopper Option. Once you've paid for the upgrade, you're ready to Park Hop!
I hope this helps with your ticketing question! Please come back and visit us here at planDisney if you have more questions before your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
