Hey, howdy, hey, Marilyn, and welcome to planDisney. Having the flexibility to change your theme park ticket is really important especially if you visit for one day. Some days you feel like getting on the Grid with TRON Lightcycle / Run and other times hopping on an ikran in Avatar Flight of Passage.
Yes, you may switch your Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket to any theme park if you have a "Date-based 1-day ticket" without the Park Hopper Option. This may require you to pay more if the ticket you are upgrading to is more expensive. Upgrading a ticket is done by visiting a Guest Services location, any Ticket Window, or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. If there is a price difference then you will need to upgrade the ticket to the new price. For example, 1-Date ticket prices (without tx and subject to change) on December 26, 2024, are:
- $189 - Magic Kingdom Park
- $179 - EPCOT
- $184 - Disney's Hollywood Studios
- $164 - Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
So if you buy a ticket for EPCOT and want to visit Magic Kingdom Park you will need to upgrade by paying $10 more plus taxes or purchase the Park Hopper Option. Please note there are no refunds on less expensive tickets.

Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
