When am I able to start booking my May 2018 vacation? Would love to start making payment since on a tight budget.

Hi, Meghan! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Oh my gosh! That is just 12 months away! Can you believe it? Although you can technically book a Disney Resort hotel “room only” reservation by calling Disney Reservations up to 499 days before your arrival, Magic Your Way Vacation Packages and actual room pricing are usually released in the summer for the following yEAR. That means that if this historical trend continues, you will be able to book your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation between June and August!

Considering that budget is of main importance to you, I always suggest keeping an eye on Special Offers (or having your travel agent do for you), as sometimes a great offer comes out AFTER you have already booked and you MAY be able to apply it to your existing reservation or make a new one to be able to take advantage of it.

One way that I like to budget is by purchasing the Disney Dining Plan, this way my meals are prepaid and I only have to budget for gratuities once on vacation!

I hope this answers your question and that you come see us again real soon so that we can help you plan your 2018 vacation!
