Ah, Bethany. You’ve posed the age-old “worth it” question. Always a tough one to address but here I am, happily accepting your challenge.
One thing I’d like to establish right up front is that time matters less on vacation. When my family visits Walt Disney World, we’re just as likely to enjoy a pizza for breakfast as we are pancakes. And so, if your only hurdle to keeping this reservation is the early hour, I’d say it’s an easy one to jump. By 9:30 on an Orlando July morning, the sun will have been up for close to three hours. It’ll most likely be muggy enough to convince yourself that it actually is time to break for
lunch. Why not go ahead and pretend that it’s 5 o’clock in Batuu?
Another consideration is your family’s level of fandom. If yours is the type to live, breathe and dine all things Star Wars, this may very well be an opportunity that won’t soon present itself again.
Oga’s Cantina is legendary amongst galactic travelers for good reason, but, of course, you won’t know the reason unless you experience it for yourself.
You are best positioned to determine the worthiness of any adventure, Bethany. But if all you need is a little nudge, I’d say it’s been duly extended. Bright suns!
