Hiya Krystal,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm sure you know, Krystal, that there's just something about running through Disney Parks. It just feels so much more magical, and I don't know if it's the character photo opportunities or the pixie-dusted cheering squads, but it's just special. I've completed a few
runDisney races before (I'm even signed up to run the Disneyland Halloween 5K in a couple of months), and I've gone on record as someone who doesn't particularly enjoy running.
I'm glad you were able to get a slot for the Disney Princess Yoga, but I'm sorry you weren't able to get a spot in the race. Given the popularity of the races, it can often feel like you have to be quicker than quick to secure a spot. While there is no waiting list for sold-out races, there is still hope that you can get a place in the upcoming
Disney Princess races. When I signed up for my last race, everything had sold out, and I was so disappointed; however, I was determined to get in for at least one race. I set a reminder on my phone and just continuously checked the website. Sometimes new slots become available, and if you're on the site at the right time, you can register for them before they sell out again. It worked for me, and I was able to register for my 5K after the initial registration had sold out. So it is always worth a shot!
I hope this was helpful, Krystal! Before I let you go, I wanted to share with you about charity spots, in case you aren't already aware. Official charities for each race often have spots available for anyone who would like to fundraise and run on behalf of their charity. This can be an incredible way to not only participate in the magical race but also support a remarkable cause. You can explore charity opportunities through the runDisney website if you're interested and check if they still have slots available for participants. Sending pixie dust so you can get registered for the race you want, Krystal! Please come back and see
us real soon.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
