Hi! Am I able to ship some items to our resort a day or two before our arrival and have guest services put it in our room before we arrive there?

    Hi Richard,

I have a family of 6 and find it very helpful to not only ship items to our Disney Resort hotel but also order grocery items to be delivered prior to our arrival.  You may ship items to your Disney Resort hotel which will be kept by Bell Services/Front Desk until your arrival.  You will need to retrieve your packages/deliveries after you have checked in as the packages will not be delivered directly to your room.  If you ship items to your Resort hotel make sure you have the correct address and your label clearly has "Guest" and the date of the recipient's arrival marked on the front.  Here is a link with more information about Mail Services at Walt Disney World Resort.  Recently I stayed at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort hotel and had a stroller and groceries delivered from separate companies which we picked up from Bell Services when we checked in.  I am always impressed with the amazing service we receive and that the perishable and frozen items are kept separately so that they are still cold or frozen when they are picked up.

One other thing for you to consider is if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel which is also a convention center hotel you may incur a small fee for items that are shipped to the Resort hotel.  This is commonplace for convention hotels and unless you are shipping many items the fee is fairly nominal. The best way to determine if your Resort hotel is also a convention hotel is to call the Resort directly and inquire.

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question.  Please let us know if you have any further Disney vacation planning questions.  We are always happy to help!
