Are you still able to get rolls of quarters and pennies for the pressed penny machines at shops in the parks?

Welcome back to planDisney, Harrison! Thanks so much for asking this great question. How exciting that you will be at The Most Magical Place on Earth next week!

There's a great big beautiful tomorrow and technology has made it possible to upgrade the Coin Press Machines at Walt Disney World Resort! While you can use cash to pay for your pressed penny, you no longer need to search for a shiny, brand-new penny! As this Disney Parks Blog article mentions, the coin press machines are now filled with brand-new, uncirculated pennies! The new machines have received pixie-dusted enhancements like a touch screen and the ability to choose and purchase multiple designs! In addition to accepting dollar bills, you can use a credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Wallet. If you prefer the original coin press machine design, I would recommend bringing your own coins to ensure you have them as there isn't a guarantee shops at the theme parks would be able to provide them.

Now let's talk about how to find the Coin Press Machines! In the My Disney Experience app, use the search feature and type "Coin Press Machines." Then, tap "Find on Map" and the locations will appear. During The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, you can find collectible 50th Anniversary-themed designs representing each of the Fab 50 Characters

Wishing you piles of pressed pennies and a magical vacation!

    Smiles,
    Lisa
