Hiya, Tina!
Welcome aboard! The countdown to your cruise is almost over, how exciting!
Disney Cruise Line has so many fantastic areas just for young sailors. Right now, the only area that requires reservations is the
"it's a small world" Nursery for little ones between 6 months and 3 years old (the minimum age is 1 year old on Transatlantic, Hawaii, and Panama Canal itineraries). For
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Disney's Oceaneer Lab, you'll need to
register kids once and then they can come and go for any activities they're interested in. No reservations are required at the moment!
You're welcome to
pre-register your kids for the clubs online or register once you board the ship on embarkation day. Either one is totally fine! Once you're on the ship you'll need to visit the club together with your child to do some final paperwork and get a wristband for your kiddo. There is also some open house time on embarkation day so adults can see all the cool things inside the clubs!
The best place to find the schedule for the clubs each day is the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. You can tap to add activities to your favorites list so that you can keep track of all the things you might want to experience. There will be tons of options!
One of my favorite things to do with my kids before we cruise is print out the
My Disney Cruise Adventure booklet! It's full of great information about the ships (you'll want to know which side is starboard and which is port!) as well as some details on what boarding the ship is like for kids. It's a fun way to get kids involved in the planning!
I hope your little sailors have lots of wonderful adventures on your cruise, Tina! Wishing you smooth seas and lots of relaxing in the sun.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
