When will I be able to reserve World of Color Season of Light Dessert Party for the week of Thanksgiving 2019? My family is excited visit the week of Thanksgiving. We want to book WOC Dessert Party, but it's not showing available past 11/7/2019.

    Happy Holidays, Travis!

I was so happy when the return of “World of Color–Season of Light” was announced earlier this year. And the World of Color Dessert Party is definitely my favorite way to experience this thrilling nighttime spectacular. You are going to love the delicious treats, both sweet and savory. As you noticed, reservations for this special dining event are currently only available through November 7th. I don’t think that date is a coincidence. That’s because the next day, November 8th, is the beginning of the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort! I’m guessing the Imagineers and Cast Members are busy making their lists and checking them twice.

Usually, dining reservations may be made as many as 60 days in advance. At times you may notice certain offerings made available only closer to the date. That is especially typical with dining events tied to the Disneyland Resort entertainment schedule, which is typically published four to six weeks in advance. I think, with a little faith and trust and pixie dust, you will see those calendars fill in for your vacation dates soon. Although schedules are subject to change, I think you will likely find reservations may be taken starting within the next few weeks. Keep an eye on the Disneyland Resort website for updates. Or feel free to give the Disneyland Resort Dining Information line a call at (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.

One of my family’s favorite vacations to the Disneyland Resort was over the week of Thanksgiving. I hope to get the chance to experience that again soon! We loved having a delicious Thanksgiving meal without having to cook and clean. And the Holiday decorations and events throughout the parks made the vacation extra magical. Our favorite activity was the "Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort" Guided Tour. Relaxing in a reserved viewing area with a special, seasonal treat while enjoying A Christmas Fantasy Parade was the best part of it!

I hope you have a magical Holiday vacation, Travis!
