Hiya, Kristy, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're heading to Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days, and you must be getting so excited! You'll be strolling right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. before you know it. I'm so glad you've stopped by with this great question!
Kristy, you'll be happy to know that you can make your length-of-stay
stroller rental once you arrive at a Disney Theme Park or Disney Springs. There is not a way to do this in advance of your vacation. Since you can't take the stroller with you when you leave the park or Disney Springs, simply keep your receipt to pick up a new stroller when you arrive at the next park.
When traveling with little ones in tow, here are a few details that might be helpful to know as you prepare for your visit:
- Each of the theme parks offers a Baby Care Center where you can stop with your little one to change, feed, purchase essentials like children's medication, and take a little break from the hustle and bustle of the park.
- Many attractions offer Rider Switch Service, which allows one parent to ride while the other waits outside with the child who is unable to ride. Then, that parent can switch places and use the Lightning Lane entrance to experience the attraction. Check with Cast Members at the entrance of the attraction to take advantage of this service.
- Arrive early in the morning at the parks, when the crowds and temperatures are typically lower, then take a break at your Resort in the afternoon so your little ones can get some rest.
- Book an Advance Dining Reservation at least once per day to give yourself a dedicated time and place to relax around a table of delicious food.
Kristy, I hope this is helpful to you as you count down to your visit. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
