Am I able to reserve 2 different resorts for my stay? Do I have to book each resort separately? Thanks

    Howdy Amber!

Welcome to planDisney. I’m so excited to hear that you are planning on visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth. One of the best things about your vacation is staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel. We’ve been countless times, and there are still resorts we haven’t stayed at, but they are all certainly on our list to visit. Let’s see what we can do to help you with planning your upcoming visit.

I have great news for you. You can absolutely do a split stay for your next vacation to Walt Disney World. Actually, I find that quite a few people who are like you and would like to experience different resorts during their stay. You can follow this link to the Walt Disney World Resort Collection page to explore each one and see what will fit your family best. In the end, you can’t go wrong with any of them. To do this, you will need to make separate reservations for each. From the Walt Disney World webpage, you will see the Build Your Vacation option at the top. Please build your vacation, including resort, tickets, and any additional options you would like, and complete the reservation. Be sure that when you choose how many days you want for your tickets, you do the total length of your stay so that you get the best rates. Once that is complete, you can go back, choose your second resort, and book just the room. You can also always contact the Tickets and Hotel Reservations, and a friendly cast member will be happy to do everything over the phone for you.

Before I leave you, I would love to give you a couple of my favorite tips to help with your planning. One of the first things I would suggest is to download the My Disney Experience app. This will be your hub and go-to app for almost everything you will want to do while there. Next, make sure you know when your booking windows open. Advanced dining reservations open at 6 AM EST, 60 days prior to your arrival. Since you will be staying at a Disney World Resort Collection Hotel, you will be able to book your Lightning Lane Multi Passes at 7 AM EST 7 days prior to your arrival. Be sure to take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with it so that you can take advantage of the neat capabilities.

Amber, I hope this helps with all of your planning and that you and your family have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World. If you have any further questions, please stop back by, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

    See ya real soon,
    Robert
