Hi Brandi! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear that you're planning to stay at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort on your upcoming trip. My family and I fell in love with this resort when we stayed here a couple of years ago. The theming is incredible and the dining options are some of the best.
Brandi, you'll be happy to know that you can make requests for your Disney Resorts hotel reservation. However, these requests are not guaranteed. Once your reservation is confirmed,
call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will note this request on your reservation. When it comes time to assign your resort room, the Cast Member will take into account what building you would like to be placed in and do their best to accommodate.
The Aruba section is my go-to location to stay at as well. Since this building is located across the water from the main lobby, most of the rooms are classified as standard rooms and not in the preferred category. However, the building is sandwiched between two
Disney Skyliner locations and is just a short walk to Disney's Riviera Resort. Having easy access to two theme parks and some delicious dining options makes it the perfect location for many Guests.
I highly recommend eating dinner at
Sebastian's Bistro during your stay. Between the Buttery House-baked Pull-apart Rolls to the various Caribbean-influenced entrees, you are going to love every aspect of this meal. The meal is completed with an out-of-this-world Coconut-Pineapple Bread Pudding that is worth the visit alone.
Brandi, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay!
