    I am able to replace the battery in my magic band so that I may continue to use it?

    Hello Wendy, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I absolutely love collecting MagicBands. It is the most stylish wearable piece of technology ever. Unfortunately, the single-use battery lasts about 2 years. If you are like me, you probably do not want to part with your favorite MagicBands.

    If you are planning to stay at select Disney Resort Hotels, you will receive a complimentary MagicBand with for your stay. You can also purchase MagicBands online or download and purchase from the Shop Disney Parks Mobile app. You will also find dozens of MagicBand designs that you can only purchase while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Another option for you if you have a second generation MagicBand is to replace the puck or center section with the Mickey head on it. I have a limited edition Rogue One Magic Band that I purchased almost 2 years ago. I can remove the original puck and replace it with one from a new MagicBand. You can purchase a kit to help you remove the puck at most retail locations wherever MagicBands are sold. I hope that helps to answer your question.
