Hiya, Gio! Welcome and thank you for asking us your question.
Gio, there are
Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) - or scooters - available at each of the
Walt Disney World theme parks,
water parks, and at
Disney Springs as well. You can rent them just about as soon as you enter the theme parks, and if you are renting for someone who may have trouble getting to the entrance, there are complimentary wheelchairs near the disabled parking spaces to help get you inside the park.
The scooters cannot be reserved in advance at the theme parks. They are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. One nice thing about the rentals, Gio, is that if you want to leave the park at all during the day and return later, they will hold your scooter for you at the rental location so that you can rest assured you will have a scooter when you come back. And if you're
park hopping, you can bring your receipt from your first theme park to the next, and as long as there is an ECV available, you're good to go.
Another option, Gio, is to rent a scooter from an outside company. Walt Disney World has partnered with a company called ScooterBug, which is an offsite mobility rental company. As a featured provider with Walt Disney World, you can arrange your scooter in advance, and they will deliver it to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. You don't even have to be there when it arrives. You can access most of the Disney transportation with a scooter.
I am wishing you a very memorable, absolutely magical, practically perfect trip, Gio!
