Hi there Israel, I'm happy to wish you a warm wedding welcome to planDisney!
When a lot of people first think about having a Disney Wedding, the image of getting married in front of the castle is something that immediately comes to mind - followed perhaps by images of a
shining carriage fit for anyone's Cinderella-inspired dreams or Characters making a surprise appearance. As a recent
Disney Groom myself who got married at Walt Disney World Resort last year with the help of
Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings team (and even had Mickey and Minnie attend), I'm happy to give you some insight into where you can currently have your wedding at the Most Magical Place on Earth:
- At the present time there isn't an option to rent out Cinderella Castle itself, but as offerings are always subject to change without prior notice and do continually get updated when it comes to Disney Weddings I always encourage asking for the most updated information in person as soon as you're ready - especially if you've got a hefty budget to work with. (Large groups and corporations have definitely been known to book out entire evenings in the theme parks, so it's always worth asking in case options open up!)
I highly recommend checking out the
Ever After Blog and the Disney Wedding Podcast for the stories and experiences of real couples as well as dedicated planning groups online for DisBrides and Grooms looking to compare notes and be inspired during the planning process. If your heart is set on tying the knot within a Disney castle,
Disneyland Paris offered my husband and I the option to have our wedding inside Sleeping Beauty Castle; they seemed to have a lot of flexibility with what you could choose and customize, so it might be a great idea to reach out to their team! In the meantime, be sure to follow Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings on social media and come back again soon for any other Disney Wedding planning answers or advice.
Here's to every Disney couple and their Happily Ever Afters!
