    Are you able to rent a car on site at Disney Property for 1 day? How far of a drive would it be to take my family to a beach for a day?

    There are three rental car locations on Disney property, one is at the Car Care Center near the Magic Kingdom, on Lake Buena Vista near Downtown Disney and the other is at the Dolphin Hotel.  They are run by National/Alamo. Here are the addresses.  

    National/Alamo at the Car Care Center 1000 Car Care Drive Lake Buena Vista , FL 32830 Phone:  (407) 824-3470 Hours:  Monday through Friday: 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    Hours: Sun-Sat: 08:00 am 05:45 pm

    National/Alamo Desk Disney Dolphin Resort 1500 Epcot Resort Blvd Orlando , FL 32830 Phone: (407) 934-4930 Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day

    The closest beaches are Daytona and Cocoa to the east (about an hour) and Clearwater to the west (about 2 hours). 

    But, located right on the Walt Disney World Property are some pretty amazing beaches located at the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, the Polynesian Resort and you can't forget Blizzard Beach Water Park.
