Hi Naddya! Thanks for bringing planDisney your Magic Key question.
My
Magic Key renewal window just opened this month so I appreciate your question. While you can certainly wait until the last day to renew your pass, I highly recommend doing it a day or two before the pass expires. I had some technical difficulty the night I tried to renew mine and ended up completing my renewal the next morning. If it had been the expiration date, I would have missed the renewal window and unable to renew. So giving yourself a buffer is preferable to missing the opportunity to renew! You can renew online via the
Disneyland Resort website or in person at the Disneyland Main Entrance Ticket Booths.
Naddya, as you likely know, if you renew a Magic Key, your pass is active the day after your current pass expires. Bonus: You can make new park reservations for the pass as soon as your renewal goes through. With
Tiana's Bayou Adventure opening in November, it is an exciting time to be a Magic Key holder and to book those park reservations early, as they will surely get scooped up!
I hope this answers your question, Naddya. Please visit us again if you need any more help!
See you in the parks,
Melissa
