Am I able to put myself AND my son’s fingerprint connected to his account? He is 3 and it’s a 50/50 shot that he will either want to do it himself or cause a scene about having to do it by himself.

Hey Howdy Hey Bianca and welcome to planDisney!

The fall is one of the best times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is cooler and there is so much going on to celebrate fall and the Halloween season! Thank you for your question about fingerprint access to your son's tickets for Theme Park entry. As a father of 3, we had to navigate this scenario several times and I will be happy to let you know how we handled it.

Bianca, it is my understanding and experience with entering the parks that only 1 fingerprint can be associated with an account at a time. With your little one, you are more than welcome to make this your fingerprint instead of his. With our daughter's around that age, not only would they not want to put their finger on the scanner but sometimes I think they are so little that the scanner does not always pick up their print. It was so much easier and quicker for us to have either my wife's or my fingerprint set to scan upon entry.

During the fall, there will be so many things to experience for this time of the year. In EPCOT you can celebrate the International Food & Wine Festival throughout the park. If your son is an adventurous eater, you can travel the World Showcase in search of the various and seasonal food and drink options, non-alcoholic of course! This is a fun way to get your little ones to experience with food and drinks of other cultures without having to pay for a huge meal that might not work.

Of course, your other option is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. This not-so-scarry option is great for all ages. The whole party is intended for the whole family and there are so many unique experiences to celebrate the Halloween season. From special parades, firework displays and trick-or-treating throughout the park, there is something for everyone!

I hope this information helps get your plan ready for your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
