Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Danielle. Thanks for stopping by with your question.
The
ESPN World Wide of Sports Complex hosts several cheEARleading competitions throughout the year. My daughter is an all-star cheerleader and we've been to The Summit which is held in the spring many times. It is so much fun!
Each competition is different, you'll actually go through their website to purchase tickets - not the ESPN World Wide of Sports. For the competitions that I've been to, everything is done online the day of. That way, if your team doesn't make it to the second day, you aren't out all of that money. You'll visit the competition's website and purchase a spectator ticket. You'll then have the ticket emailed to you. Once you are at the competition you'll pull it up for them to scan at the entrance. You'll need the competition information to find the spectator tickets but you don't have to be associated with a particular team.
When you are going to the competition, be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there and park. It's a very busy area and sometimes you have to walk a good bit to get to the actual event. There are plenty of places to grab a beverage or a snack as well which is nice if you are planning on being there all day to watch the teams.
I hope this helps, Danielle. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
