Hi there, Shane!
Welcome to planDisney! It looks like you're planning to celebrate the end of 2023 at
Disneyland Resort, which sounds like a fabulous plan to me! Let's talk about planning it all out so you can ring in the new year with Mickey and his pals.
I'm so glad that you know you need to
purchase tickets and make park reservations for each day of your visit. While you can purchase park tickets now, theme park reservations for your dates aren't available just yet. Park reservations are released on a rolling basis, usually 120 days in advance. You can check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to see when the days of your visit open. It looks like your days should become available in the next couple of weeks!
You have two different options for making your park reservations:
- You can purchase your park tickets now and then make park reservations one day at a time as reservations open.
- You can wait until the calendar extends to the final day of your visit, then purchase tickets and make park reservations for all your days at the same time.
Knowing that the holidays will likely become fully booked, you may want to use the first option and make park reservations each day as they open up. You can select dates when you purchase your tickets and then
modify the park reservations online as your true visit dates open.
I'm sure you're looking forward to celebrating the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort! We're already seeing
jolly sneak peeks at the delicious treats heading for the parks. My personal favorite? That Mickey Gingerbread Cookie. And I don't even normally like gingerbread! The best way to grab that cheerful cookie is to use the
Disneyland Mobile App to place a
mobile order early in the day. I recommend trying the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe!
The pressure will be on to get those park reservations in just a couple of weeks, Shane! I'd recommend setting an alarm to remind you so that you can get them booked and move on to planning more of your trip. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
