Hi Markus,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for sending us your question. I am happy to see that it looks like you are planning on visiting Disneyland Resort later this summer, how exciting! I can't wait until I am able to stroll down Main Street U.S.A. with my family, it has been way too long!
With the announcement that
Disneyland Resort will be reopening in a few short weeks, guests have been patiently waiting to hear when Ticket Sales will resume. Guess What? As of tomorrow, April 15, 2021 you will be able to purchase your new Theme Park Tickets!
Once you have your Theme Park Tickets, you will also need to make a
Theme Park Reservation for every day you would like to visit a Theme Park. I suggest making your reservations as soon as you purchase your Theme Park Tickets as capacity will be limited. To do this, all you need to do is follow 4 simple steps:
- Sign in to your Disney Account or create a new account. I highly recommend doing this prior to April 15, if you do not already have an account.
- Once your Theme Park Tickets are linked to your account, create your party. For this step, you will need to link the Theme Park Tickets of everyone traveling with you to make a Theme Park Reservation for your group. Simply input the names and Ticket Numbers for each person when prompted.
- Select the day and Theme Park you would like to visit. If you plan on visiting multiple days, you will need to repeat this step for each day.
- The last step will review and confirm your reservation, including filling out a Covid-19 liability waiver. After you have finished, you will receive an email confirmation with a QR code to bring with you along with your valid Theme Park Tickets to Disneyland Resort for entry into either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park.
I hope this information was useful, Markus. Please let us know if you have any other question as you continue to plan your visit to Disneyland Resort, we are always happy to help.
