Hi there, Zena!
So glad you raced over to planDisney with your planning question. Consider us as your pit road for making all the adjustments on your Disneyland vacation. We will wave the checkered flag together as you cross the finish line, marking the beginning of your trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth!
As a California resident, you will be able to be part of the first wave of Guests to cruise down to Radiator Springs in Cars Land (and all the other lands) when Disneyland Resort reopens starting April 30th, 2021. You’ll need to check the
Theme Park Reservations Availability Calendar first to check what parks are available for your dates. If it looks good, then go ahead and
purchase your theme parks tickets! Then you will log onto your Disney account and be able to make your
theme park reservations. Both valid admission AND a theme park reservation are needed to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.
We’ve all heard that “life is a highway” and in this case, the highways will soon be filled with Guests traveling to Disneyland Resort for a return to a Land of Magic. But don’t worry about the traffic along Route 66 in
Cars Land at
Disney California Adventure Park because there’s plenty of room for Guests to explore and enjoy this immersive experience. Here’s a planDisney tip: don’t miss the wow moment which happens in the evenings when all the neon signs are turned on along Route 66 and illuminate the night sky! You should have seen my expression when I first saw this: I looked like Mater after he had just gone tractor tipping!
Speaking of tipping, make a pit stop to planDisney anytime if you’d like to chat more about vacation tips. We are always happy to be the Doc Hudson to your Lightning McQueen with planning advice!
Ka-Chow!
