Hiya, Adriana!
I’m happy to help with your question here at planDisney. It is always such fun to help others with their Disney Parks planning!
Because I was using a form of payment not accepted in the
Disneyland mobile app, I was able to purchase
theme park admission at the ticket booths between the entrances of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park during a visit several months ago. However, I also noticed that Cast Members were requesting that Guests use the mobile app or a web browser to purchase tickets when possible.
Besides theme park tickets, all Guests of the Disneyland Resort are also required to obtain
theme park reservations. So I highly recommend purchasing tickets online or in the Disneyland mobile app where you can purchase tickets and make park reservations in the same transaction. If you do happen to choose to purchase tickets in-person at the Disneyland Resort, be sure to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar for the ticket type you wish to purchase. I wouldn’t want you to feel disappointed after purchasing tickets only to find out that park reservations are not currently available for the day you are visiting.
Tony’s Tip: Availability of theme park reservations comes and goes. Be sure to keep an eye on the
reservation calendar for openings that show up from when other Guests change plans and need to cancel their reservations. Are you staying at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels? If so, you will want to look at the calendar of
theme park reservations exclusively for on-site hotel Guests.
Good luck with planning your
Southern California adventure, Adriana. I hope you stop by planDisney again if you have any more Disney Parks questions.
See ya real soon!
