When it comes to the purchase of
Genie+, as long as everyone is connected to the
My Disney Experience app and sharing plans, you should be able to make the purchase of Genie+ for everyone. On the day you are going to make this purchase, you should be prompted on the members of your party you are purchasing for. You should have the option to purchase Genie+ for everyone in the party or only a select few if needed. Once you purchase Genie+, you will have access to make your first
Lightning Lane Entry selection starting at 7:00 AM EST for everyone in your party. The next window for Lightning Lane Entry booking will open 2 hours after the park officially opens or after your tap into redeeming your first experience, whichever comes first.
When it comes to the purchase of
Individual Lightning Lane selections, this process is a little different. These experiences are available in each park for super popular attractions such as
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT. With these purchases, you will still have the option to purchase Individual Lightning Lane entries for everyone in the party, however, this will be limited to those staying onsight at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or other qualifying resorts. If you have members in your party staying offsite and not in qualifying resorts, there usually is a block in the app that will not let you select those members in your party. You will have the option to book these experiences for everyone starting when the park officially opens for those staying offsite.
