Hello, Bonnie,Welcome to planDisney. As fellow Guests just like you, it's a privilege to help you make your next Disney vacation as magical as possible. Having "been there, done that" across countless Disney Cruise Line and Disney theme park vacations, members of the planDisney Panel are very likely to have just the right experience to relate to just about any question you may have on the subject. That is also true on the topic of booking a placeholder cruise to enjoy the special onboard offer. Alas, I too overlooked the opportunity to book a placeholder cruise during my family's first Disney cruise many years ago. Did I regret that decision? Yes, kind of. But I "made up for it" by simply booking our next cruise during one of the blockout dates for what is now our favorite ship: the Disney Wonder. Since then, we've made it a regular habit of booking a placeholder cruise nearly every time we've sailed Where Magic Meets the Sea. Another option is to keep a close eye on the Special Offers page. They are regularly updated. So keep checking back for new and exciting deals. I also recommend giving the Disney Cruise Line a phone call within a week of returning from your previous cruise to inquire what special offers may be available to recent cruisers. For example, after our last cruise on the Disney Wonder, there was a special offer for Walt Disney World Resort stays. (It may not be hard to guess where we are going later this year!)No matter which Disney cruise or other Disney Parks vacation experience you choose next, I hope it's amazing. And please visit us again here at planDisney to request any recommendations you may need for planning dining and entertainment experiences tailored to your party's needs.Have a magical time, Bonnie!~Tony
