Am I able to pick up my new Annual Pass card at guest services in May, when I don't plan on activating and using it for the first time until November? Or will picking it up in May activate it?

Hey there, hi there, ho there Samantha, and welcome back to planDisney. Congrats on your new annual pass. Being an Annual Passholder has opened up a whole new world for my family when we visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth."

You may pick up your Passholder Card anytime after you purchase it and you have 12 months to activate it. Activating an annual pass means that you used it to enter a theme park at least one time. Your annual pass will be able to be renewed 12 months from the activation date so when you activate it in November 2023 you will be able to renew it as early as 60 days before it expires in 2024.

planDisney Pro Tip: Once you get your annual pass, link it to your My Disney Experience account and create a MagicMobile pass through the My Disney Experience app. Also, be sure to review all the Passholder Benefits. With special discounts on Resort hotels, food, and merchandise the annual pass could pay for itself.

Samantha, thank you again for dropping by with your question. Please write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
