Hey there Faith! Welcome to planDisney!
A visit to
Walt Disney World Resort during the Holiday season is so exciting. My family was there for Christmas this year and had a BLAST! My kids enjoyed fawning over all the Christmas trees on property (check out the one in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort if you get a chance) and eating cookies in
EPCOT as part of the Holiday Cookie Stroll. They really like any reason to eat a cookie!
Unfortunately, Theme Park tickets purchased separately must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
However, if you decide to purchase tickets as part of a Disney Resorts Collection vacation package, you can space out your payments a bit. With this option, there is a $200 deposit due at the time of booking, and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your Walt Disney World arrival date. You get all the time between those dates to make payments as you wish! My family has spaced the Resort package payments out in the past, and it definitely helps.
Whatever option you choose, the Holiday season at Walt Disney World will soon pull you in like a “Warm Hug” from Olaf, and you’ll be immersed in all of its magic!
