Will you still be able to pay cash for food/purchases on Disney properties when you have the "magic band"? We have a resort/ticket package. Thank you

    Hi Cheri ~

September will be here before you know it and I love that you are planning ahead!

You can absolutely use cash everywhere at Disney World. I always try to avoid credit cards or charging things to my room on my MagicBand whenever possible.  That way I know when I run out of my "spending" cash, I'm done.

Another option is purchasing a Disney Gift Card that is widely accepted throughout the Disney World Resort. This would allow you to avoid charging things to your room and not carry around cash but still keep track of your spending. There are no fees involved and they never expire. You can purchase them at the link shown above and at Disney World at most merchandise locations. Some of your local retailers may carry Disney Gift Cards as well.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions.   We'll be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
