Hello, Chris!
Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney. Guests with dining reservations at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort, whether at Chef Mickey’s, California Grill, or Steakhouse 71, are welcome to park at the resort for the duration of their meal. Typically, resort parking is intended for a few hours and may not be available for all-day use to visit
Magic Kingdom.
If you plan to walk over to Magic Kingdom after dining, it’s helpful to let the parking attendant know your plans upon arrival. They can inform you of any specific parking guidelines for the day, as policies can vary depending on capacity and seasonal demand.
On especially busy days, you may be asked to move your vehicle to the Magic Kingdom parking lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) after dining. The TTC offers full-day parking with easy access to Magic Kingdom via
monorail or ferry, making it ideal for longer park visits.
Since policies can shift based on resort capacity, it’s always good to have a backup plan just in case. Thank you again for visiting planDisney, Chris! Feel free to reach out with any other questions as you plan your day at Walt Disney World Resort.
Best,
~Yael
