Ahoy Minh Tam!
Thanks for sailing on over to planDisney with a great question ahead of your Disney Cruise Line vacation! Bubble wands are certainly a popular item in the theme parks, so I understand why you may be interested in bringing them on your cruise.
Minh Tam, I reviewed the current list of
Prohibited and Restricted Items on the Disney Cruise Line website, and bubble wands are not specifically mentioned. As Mama Odie would advise, I decided to
dig a little deeper and
called to speak with a Cast Member who confirmed that battery-operated bubble wands and sealed bubble containers should be fine to bring with you. I would suggest
packing your bubble wand in your carry-on, just in case there are any questions or concerns at security checkpoints when you arrive at your departure port. Please keep in mind that port security, as well as Cast and Crew Members, ultimately have final decision-making authority over any items brought onto the ships as they strive to provide both a safe and enjoyable cruise experience for all Guests. Once onboard, it's also important to follow any directives by Cast and Crew on areas where you may or may not be able to use your bubble wand. For example, bubble solution on an already wet pool deck may cause a safety concern.
Speaking of bubble wands, here's a little bonus tip that I've learned over the years when
souvenir shopping with my kids - both on Disney Cruise Line and in the parks. I like to use
Disney Gift Cards as an easy way for them to budget their spending. My boys have especially enjoyed purchasing plush characters, Disney Cruise Line playsets, and water and sand toys as fun souvenirs they can use while on the cruise and also enjoy at home! Providing each of them with a Disney Gift Card loaded with their spending limit has given them some freedom (as well as some responsibility) when deciding how to spend their souvenir allowance.
I hope this information has been helpful, Minh Tam, and that you enjoy your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
SEA ya real soon!
