    Are you able to meet the character Maleficent

    Hi Elise!

    Character Experiences are one of my favorite things to do during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I love being able to meet and interact with the Characters from some of my favorite Disney movies and shows. Be sure to consider adding Memory Maker to your vacation so you can capture and save all of the moments where you meet your favorite Characters. During our last visit to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, one incredible Disney PhotoPass photographer got pictures of my little one meeting Moana for the first time and they are some of my favorite photos of our entire trip.

    The Disney Villains are some of my favorite Disney Characters. Unfortunately, Maleficent does not currently have a scheduled Character Experience at Walt Disney World Resort. However, the Disney Imagineers are always working on new things for Guests to enjoy. So I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about new experiences headed to the theme parks in time for your trip. Even though it's not a traditional Character Experience, I definitely recommend that you plan on enjoying the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade to see Maleficent in her dragon form as she makes her way down Main Street, U.S.A. You should also check out Fantasmic! when you visit Disney's Hollywood Studios as her dragon makes an incredible appearance in this show as well.
