Hey there, hi there, ho there, Brian! You’re as welcome as can be to planDisney!
I love that your children share the excitement for the planning process of your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Personally, I agree that planning the trip is almost as much fun as actually going on it! My children love making a paper chain countdown where they tear off a chain each night before our trip -- it’s a great way for them to visualize how many more sleeps until we escape to the magic of our happy place!
Unfortunately, park maps aren’t currently being mailed to Guests, but I have another great solution for you! You can print a guide map for
all four theme parks so your children can get to work mapping out their ideal plans! My dear friend and fellow Panelist,
Julie P., has another great suggestion – she recommends printing the maps on A3-sized sheets, so you have more room to see details and add comments. She even likes to add stickers sometimes, which could make for a fun project as well. I love those ideas!
Here are the current links to the guide maps for all four theme parks:
Magic Kingdom ParkDisney’s Hollywood StudiosDisney’s Animal Kingdom Theme ParkEpcotThese maps are updated seasonally, so you can find the links to these PDF files on the main webpage for each theme park. Look under the main picture, to the left-hand side, and you’ll see “Location, Walt Disney World Resort,” followed by a link for Guest Services, and to the right of that, a link to that park’s guide map.
Another fun way to browse the theme parks is to log in to the
My Disney Experience mobile app. My kids love checking it out even when we’re at home! Your kids can view any plans you’ve already made under “My Plans,” where you can view current

park, and
dining reservations.
I hope this information helps your family plan the perfect getaway together! Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Brian!
See ya’ real soon!
