Hello, am I able to leave the park with a standard one park a day ticket and come back the same day? It is not tickets through the resort and I don’t have a park hopper.

Hi Jahzara! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

Yes, you should be able to leave and return to the same park where you have your theme park reservation using your standard admission ticket. The only reason you'd be prevented from reentering would be if the park had reached capacity, but since the advent of theme park reservations, this is a very rare occurrence that typically only happens on the most popular days of the year and is temporary. Once Guests leave, more Guests are allowed to enter. You shouldn't have anything to worry about on your preferred park day.

With your valid admission ticket and theme park reservation, you should be good to go! When you return, just be ready to pull your ticket back up on the Disneyland mobile app to be scanned back in. Alternatively, you can scan in using a MagicBand+. That's a convenient hands-free option, which can be used not only at entry but also at Lightning Lane Entrances using Lightning Lane Multi Pass.

A couple of things to note: The same Guest needs to use the ticket as your picture will be associated with the ticket to identify the Guest. Additionally, if you leave the Disneyland Resort property, you'll also need to go through security again. Check Park Rules to speed your way through security as quickly as possible.

    I hope this helps!
