Are we able to leave for an afternoon break and return the with the same day tickets and parking ticket if we are staying at a different resort that's 15 minutes away?

Howdy, Kesher! It's awesome to have you stop by planDisney! We're more than excited to help you with all the Disney details for your upcoming trip!

You can absolutely come and go into the parks and the parking lot as many times as you need during that day! You can leave the parks for an afternoon break and come back later the same day with no problem at all. Your theme park ticket allows re-entry to the same park as long as it’s valid for that date. So if you want to head out for a few hours to rest, swim, or grab a bite to eat at your resort, you’ll be able to return later in the evening for fireworks or a few more rides.

The same goes for parking. You only pay once per day, so just hang on to your parking receipt, and when you come back, show it to the Cast Member at the entrance. Whether you return to the same park or decide to visit a different one (if your theme park ticket has the Park Hopper option), you won’t be charged again for parking that day.

Since your resort is only about 15 minutes away, this plan actually sounds perfect. Taking an afternoon break during the Florida heat can make a huge difference, especially if you’re traveling with kids or plan to stay late for nighttime shows. So go ahead, take that mid-day rest, and come back refreshed for round two of Disney magic!
