Hi Claudio! Welcome to planDisney!
One of the best perks of staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is that you have full access to the Resort and amenities the day of your arrival and departure. This includes being able to make an
Individual Lightning Lane purchase at 7 AM EST on your check-out day. My family and I just recently returned from our weeklong trip and had a rainy day in the middle of the week, which we decided to use as a full rest day. We changed our plans and made a park reservation for
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park on our departure day. We could not leave the Walt Disney World Resort without riding
Avatar Flight of Passage! It is a must-do experience and, in my opinion, is the most exhilarating ride at any of the theme parks!
With this attraction being so popular, it will typically have long wait times throughout the day. Unless you plan on getting to the park first thing in the morning and heading straight to
Pandora - The World of Avatar, I highly recommend trying to snag that Individual Lightning Lane for this ride. Being that it is your departure day, I’m sure you will have a lot to take care of in the morning. This will include bringing all your luggage to bell services to hold until you head to the airport. Having this attraction reserved will allow you to take your time and not rush directly out of your resort. I can’t tell you how many times we have had to fill out
Disney’s Lost and Found Form because we left some items behind.
As I mentioned earlier, if you arrive back to your hotel with time to spare before departing, you will have access to all the amenities at your resort. One thing that my family has done multiple times is to take advantage of the pool on the last day. We pack our bathing suits separately and use the lobby restrooms for an easy change. It’s a great way to get some rest and relaxation before heading out and traveling back home.
Claudio, I hope you have a magical time on your upcoming visit! Come
see me again at planDisney with any questions you may have before your visit!
See ya real soon!
