Are you able to take hammocks on the Disney Dream to use on the family stateroom balconies?

    Hi Julie!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your voyage sailing the high seas aboard the Disney Dream will be packed with fun and adventure! Waking up each morning and looking at the ocean while sitting on our verandah is my favorite way to start each day of our Disney Cruise Line cruises.

It sounds like you're already daydreaming about spending time on your verandah on the Disney Dream! I called Disney Cruise Line and asked if hammocks were allowed and unfortunately, the agent said that hammocks are not allowed on your verandah. I had never seen one onboard but wanted to call just to be sure! Even though a hammock isn't allowed, you'll still be able to relax on your balcony! Each Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah has two comfortable chairs and one small table on the verandah to use while overlooking the sea.

You can look forward to lounging in a hammock while the ship is docked at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay! Laying under the shade of two palm trees while gently swinging above the sand in a hammock on Castaway Cay is my idea of paradise!
