Hey there Joshua, it's great to have you here at planDisney!
One of the
great things about having an Annual Pass is the ability to frequent the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in order to gain some great Park-hopping strategies, especially in order to avoid some of the restrictions on the
Annual Passholder Admission Calendar. Since these policies can always be to be subject to change without prior notice, it's always important to check with the Cast Members in the event that anything is different by the time of your visit; in this case, the easiest answer to your question is yes - you can indeed currently hop over to
Magic Kingdom Park from
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park on a Saturday. (This is something that I can personally confirm as I've done it several times already this year!)
At the present time you'll still want to ensure that you have a
Theme Park Reservation and have entered Disney's Animal Kingdom that day, which makes sense since you said that you were planning on being there in the morning. While Cast Members will often say that admission to Magic Kingdom Park is subject to availability due to capacity, this is something I'd personally only worry about around major holidays or popular times of the year. (Despite folks who may not believe it to be possible, it occurred during Spring Break this year with the following notification sent to guests via the
My Disney Experience app: "The Park Hopper option is temporarily unavailable at Magic Kingdom" along with contact information to check the ongoing status.)
While this is subject to be updated and may be completely different in the future, it's always best to play it safe in order to avoid the dreaded flashing blue light as you tap in at the turnstiles - so you're always welcome to
come back to us here at planDisney for any other updated advice!
Here's to Happy Park Hopping!
