Welcome to planDisney, Kiersten!
I'm so excited that you have plans to visit the theme parks! It's so awesome to have Disney World in our state. I feel really fortunate to be close to all of the magic!
You typically do not need to have your ID when gaining admission to the theme parks, so your expired driver's license should not pose many problems. When you go to enter the parks, all you need is a valid ticket or your annual pass, and a
Park Reservation. From there, you should be able to go right through the entrance! Now, if you ordered your tickets online and you received email confirmation for them, you may need to show your ID to pick them up... but if you explain your situation to the Cast Member and show another form of identification along with your expired ID, you should be fine!
If you are trying to set up your Florida Resident Annual Pass, please visit the "
Proof of Florida Residency" page to see what forms you can bring instead of your ID.
Also, please note: You will not be able to purchase alcohol within the parks with an expired license.
While you're visiting Disney, please visit
Gideon's Bakehouse at Disney Springs and get a Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie for me! And, if you have any additional questions, we'd love to hear from you again at planDisney!
