Hello there Jackie and welcome to planDisney!
My heartfelt congratulations on your first time staying on the Walt Disney World Resort property. It was only a few short years ago that I was in your exact same position. And would you believe my first on-property stay was at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort too? Great minds think alike. Now this resort and the other All-Stars are not locations where you can see the fireworks as they're just too far from the parks. But that does not mean you can't have that fireworks experience. I'm happy to offer a few suggestions.
1. Go see the fireworks from inside the theme parks. Currently,
Magic Kingdom Park and
EPCOT are the homes of the two nighttime spectaculars being offered.
Disney Enchantment is a sight to behold from Main Street, U.S.A. and
Harmonious can be viewed from locations all around the World Showcase. Grab yourself an ice cream from the
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor or a mini pina colada funnel cake from the kiosk in the World Showcase and prepare to be dazzled!
2. Book yourself a dining reservation at a restaurant in a
Magic Kingdom Area Resort. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, or Disney's Contemporary Resort are the places to be to watch the fireworks outside of the park. Go and have a great meal and then watch the sky be bathed in color.
Jackie, I hope I've been able to give you some ideas. If you have any other questions, please
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
