Because I was only able to enter 5 tickets at one time I had to create two separate parties. Is there a way to combine them or does it matter?

Hi Kenny, and a great, big, beautiful welcome to planDisney! Thank you for sending us your question about linking your party's tickets together for all the magic awaiting you at Disneyland Resort!

It sounds like you are planning a fun group vacation in just a few short months. I hope we can get you some answers to help optimize your time together and minimize any chance of glitches along the way! I did some investigative reporting and spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed that there is currently no limit to the number of Guests whose tickets you can link to your account through the Disneyland mobile app. You can select the '☰' icon on the home screen and you will see the option for "Tickets and Passes." That page will display any existing tickets or passes linked to your account and also the (+) button in the top right-hand corner of the screen will allow you to "Link Tickets and Passes" by using your camera to scan the barcode or by manually entering the ID number.

Now, Kenny, if you are planning to purchase Disney Genie+ Service to book Lightning Lane Entrances or Individual Lightning Lanes, you will surely want to link everyone in your party through the previously mentioned process. At this time, a maximum of 10 Guests may book their Lightning Lane Entrances, so if your party is larger than that, you may wish to split your group up and designate a second person in your party to manage the plans of that group.

I have another tip for traveling with large groups, Kenny. I know it can be difficult to find table service dining reservations for larger parties. In the past, I have found it easier to secure two separate dining reservations (splitting my party size in half) within a 10-minute window of each other. For example, you could choose a reservation for 4 people at 5:00 PM and a reservation for 5 people at 5:10 PM. Then, be sure to visit the check-in kiosk early and request that your party be seated together or near one another. While this isn't always guaranteed, it's worth a try and you never know when the pixie dust will fly in your direction! Cast Members will typically try to do everything to make a little magic happen for you and your party.

I hope these are helpful suggestions and more than anything, I hope you and your group have an unforgettable time visiting the 'Happiest Place on Earth!' Being together is the best gift of all. If we can be of any more assistance, please reach out to us here at planDisney again!

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
